The Northern Colorado Bears have announced their 2019 football schedule plus several future non-conference opponents for 2020 through 2022.
Northern Colorado will open the 2019 season with three-straight road games, beginning with a Thursday night contest at the San Jose State Spartans on Aug. 29.
The Bears will then travel to take on the Washington State Cougars on Sept. 7 before opening Big Sky Conference play the following week on Sept. 14 at the Sacramento State Hornets.
Northern Colorado’s first home opponent at Nottingham Field in Greeley, the South Dakota Coyotes on Sept. 21, will also be their final non-conference game on their 2019 schedule. The Idaho Vandals visit Greeley the following week on Sept. 28.
Next, the Bears have back-to-back road contests scheduled at the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Oct. 5 and at the Eastern Washington Eagles on Oct. 12.
The Portland State Vikings visit Nottingham Field on Oct. 19, and then Northern Colorado enjoys their first and only open date of the season on Oct. 26.
After a rest, Northern Colorado sets out to play at the Idaho State Bengals on Nov. 2 before returning to Greeley to host the Montana State Bobcats on Nov. 9.
The UNC Bears close out the 2019 regular-season with a trip to face the North Dakota Fighting Hawks on Nov. 16, followed by a home contest against the Cal Poly Mustangs on Nov. 23.
Northern Colorado also announced today the addition of several future non-conference opponents for 2020 through 2022. Only the 2020 game against Fort Lewis was previously unknown.
