The Washington State Cougars and the Colorado State Rams have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2022 and 2023, FBSchedules.com has learned.
A copy of the game contract and amendment was obtained from Washington State University via a state public records request.
In the first game of the series, Washington State will host Colorado State at Martin Stadium in Pullman on Sept. 17, 2022. The Cougars will then travel to face the Rams in the second and final game of the series at Colorado State Stadium in Fort Collins on Sept. 2, 2023.
Washington State and Colorado State’s first and only meeting on the gridiron came in the 2013 Gildan New Mexico Bowl. Colorado State won that contest 48-45 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Cougars are also scheduled to play a home-and-home series with Wisconsin in 2022 and 2023. WSU travels to Madison on Sept. 10, 2022 and hosts the Badgers on Sept. 9, 2023.
Washington State is the first known non-conference opponent for Colorado State for both the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
