It’s the week of December 12th and we still have football games to discuss. Pretty cool, eh?
Let’s get to predicting before any additional games are cancelled.

Postponed Games
Ole Miss (4-4) at #5 Texas A&M (7-1)
—————————————————
#1 Alabama (9-0) at Arkansas (3-6)
Noon ET | ESPN
Just a note of interest: Alabama already has more wins before this game kicks off than Ohio State would have if they win out and win the national championship. The Buckeyes would finish with an 8-0 record. Seems crazy, that’s 2020 flexin’.
As far as this game goes, I really like what Sam Pittman has done in his first season as head coach in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks are not a great team, but they are a consistently tough team that gets as much out of every player on every play. If Alabama looks ahead to Florida at any point of this game Saturday morning in Fayetteville, expect a frustrating win for the ‘Tide.
Nick Saban teams aren’t known for overlooking opponents, but it can happen. I expect a very vanilla, methodical, and quick workday for the Alabama offense. Arkansas will “hold” Alabama to 42 points.
PREDICTION: Alabama 42, Arkansas 10
#9 Georgia (6-2) at #25 Missouri (5-3)
Noon ET | SEC Network
The battle for SEC Coach of the Year took place last Saturday morning in Columbia, Missouri, with the Eliah Drinkwitz and the Tigers getting the thrilling last-second win over the aforementioned Razorbacks.
Missouri has quietly gone about its business and won the games they should have won and lost the games they were expected to lose with the exception of the win over LSU in the second game of the season. This week’s game may be an opportunity where the Tigers get a win in a game they should lose.
Georgia has been playing much better on offense, but Missouri is playing at home with a morning kickoff which sets up for one of those sleepy upsets that strike early in the afternoon. Georgia doesn’t have much to play for as far as championships go. Kirby Smart can show what kind of coach he is by having his Dawgs ready to play and win on Saturday.
This may be a fun one. Missouri can score points and Georgia is opening up the offense.
PREDICTION: Georgia 34, Missouri 33
Tennessee (2-6) at Vanderbilt (0-8)
4:00pm ET | SEC Network
Jeremy Pruitt really needs to win this game. Absolutely nothing positive can be taken from a loss at winless Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon in Nashville. And if Sarah Fuller runs a fake field goal in for a touchdown… bless us, everyone.
PREDICTION: Tennessee 21, Vanderbilt 13
LSU (3-5) at #6 Florida (8-1)
7:00pm ET | ESPN
I’m not one to beat a dead horse or to callback lame name-calling, but LSU smelling like corndogs is the nicest thing anyone can say about the program right now. In an awful swing-and-miss while trying to hit the ball of integrity the Tigers have self-imposed a bowl ban for this season. Okay.
Florida can feel free to look ahead to Alabama. LSU is finished.
PREDICTION: Florida 44, LSU 7
Auburn (5-4) at Mississippi State (3-6)
7:30pm ET | SEC Network
There are three offensive geniuses coaching in this game. Auburn brings Gus Malzahn and Chad Morris. Mississippi State brings Mike Leach. Watch this game to see how all three of these coaches try with all their might to keep any genius hidden from plain view.
PREDICTION: Auburn 8, Mississippi 4
