The Western Michigan Broncos have added the New Hampshire Wildcats to their 2022 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has learned.
A copy of the game contract with the University of New Hampshire was obtained from Western Michigan University via a state Freedom of Information Act request.
Western Michigan will host New Hampshire at Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Oct. 1, 2022. The Broncos will pay the Wildcats a $350,000 guarantee for the contest, according to the copy of the contract.
New Hampshire plays in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Wildcats made the FCS Playoffs in 14 consecutive seasons from 2004 through 2017, but did not make it in 2018 or 2019.

Western Michigan is the second scheduled non-conference opponent for New Hampshire for the 2022 season. The Wildcats are also scheduled to play at Dartmouth on Oct. 15, which is part of a six-game home-and-home series between the two schools.
Western Michigan is scheduled to open the 2020 season on Friday, Sept. 4 at home in Kalamazoo against the Colgate Raiders. New Hampshire opens their 2020 slate the following day on Saturday, Sept. 5 on the road in Lawrence against the Kansas Jayhawks.
