The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the San Diego State Aztecs have scheduled a four-game football series beginning in 2028, both schools announced on Monday.
Louisiana Tech and San Diego State will kick off their four-game, home-and-home football series on Sept. 23, 2028 at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The Bulldogs will also travel to play at San Diego State six seasons later on Sept. 23, 2034.
San Diego State will travel to take on Louisiana Tech at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston, La., on Sept. 15, 2029. The Aztecs will also visit Ruston four seasons later on Sept. 24, 2033.
The 2028 Louisiana Tech-San Diego State contest will mark the first-ever meeting on the gridiron between the two schools.
Louisiana Tech now has two scheduled non-conference opponents for both the 2028 and 2029 seasons. The Bulldogs are also slated to host Kansas in 2028 and Bowling Green in 2029.
The Aztecs are the first scheduled non-conference opponent for Louisiana Tech in 2034 and 2035.
Louisiana Tech is the third non-conference opponent that San Diego State has announced for the 2028 season. The Aztecs are also scheduled to play at Missouri and host Arizona State that season.
The Bulldogs are the first scheduled non-conference opponent for San Diego State for the 2029, 2033, and 2034 seasons.
Football Schedules
