The Louisville Cardinals have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Kentucky, North Carolina, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and UConn.
Louisville opens the 2012 season with five straight non-conference games, beginning with in-state rival Kentucky at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Sept. 1. The Cardinals then host Missouri State (Sept. 8) and North Carolina (Sept. 15) before hitting the road to play Florida International (Sept. 22) and Southern Miss (Sept. 29).
Louisville kicks off the 2012 Big East season on Oct. 13 at Pittsburgh. The remainder of their Big East slate includes vs. USF (Oct. 20), vs. Cincinnati (Fri., Oct. 26), vs. Temple (Nov. 3), at Syracuse (Nov. 10) and vs. Connecticut (Nov. 24).
The Cardinals close the regular season at Rutgers on Thursday, Nov. 29 (7:30 p.m. ET – ESPN).
