The 2011 FCS Schedule kicked off in Week 1 on Thursday, Sept. 1. The season concluded on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 with the North Dakota State Bison defeating the Sam Houston Bearkats, 17-6, in the FCS Championship Game at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas.
