The 2008 FCS Schedule kicked off in Week 1 on Thursday, Aug. 28. The season concluded on Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 with the Richmond Spiders defeating the Montana Grizzlies, 24-7, in the FCS Championship Game at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tenn.
