The UCLA Bruins will play the Texas Longhorns at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, the Los Angeles Times has reported.
UCLA and Texas are set to play on September 13, 2014. The Bruins and Longhorns have met six times with the series tied at three games each.
The two schools recently completed a home-and-home series. UCLA won 34-12 in Austin in 2010 and Texas won 49-20 in Los Angeles earlier this season.
Texas was previously scheduled to play at Arkansas on Sept. 13, 2014, but that game has been moved to Sept. 11, 2021. The Longhorns are also slated to host BYU and North Texas in 2014.
On Tuesday, UCLA athletics director Dan Guerrero announced on his weekly blog that the Bruins had “…negotiated a deal that will feature the Bruins playing an early-season game against a marquee opponent at Cowboys Stadium. An official announcement should be coming in the next few days.”
