The UCF Knights and the North Carolina Tar Heels have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2024 and 2025, both schools announced on Tuesday.
In the first game of the series, UCF will travel to face North Carolina at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill on Sept. 21, 2024. The Knights will then host the Tar Heels at Bright House Networks Stadium in Orlando on Sept. 20, 2025.
This is the second home-and-home series scheduled between the two schools. UCF is slated to play at North Carolina this season on Sept. 15, 2018 and then host the Tar Heels to open the 2020 season (on or around Sept. 5; game was previously scheduled for Sept. 12).
UCF, a member of the American Athletic Conference, and North Carolina, a member of the ACC, have never met on the gridiron.
North Carolina is the first scheduled non-conference opponent for UCF for both the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
The Tar Heels have three other games scheduled in those two seasons: vs. Charlotte (Sept. 7, 2024), at Charlotte (Sept. 6, 2025), and vs. TCU (Sept. 13, 2025).
