The Texas Southern Tigers have released their fall 2021 football schedule, which includes five home contests and 11 games overall.

Texas Southern opens the fall 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 with a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) contest at home against Prairie View A&M at BBVA Stadium in Houston, Texas.

The Tigers will also host SWAC foes Alcorn State (Oct. 23), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Oct. 30), and Alabama A&M (Nov. 13) at BBVA Stadium.

Texas Southern’s SWAC road opponents include Southern (Oct. 9; in Arlington, Texas), Grambling State (Oct. 16), Jackson State (Nov. 6), and Alabama State (Nov. 20).

In non-conference action this fall, Texas Southern will play at Baylor on Sept. 11 and at Rice on Sept. 25. The Tiger will also host North American University for Homecoming on Oct. 2 at Alexander Durley Stadium in Houston.

Texas Southern finished the spring 2021 SWAC season 1-2 in conference action. The Tigers defeated Alcorn State and lost to Prairie View A&M and Southern, while contests against Grambling State, Mississippi Valley State, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff were canceled.
