The Texas Southern Tigers have released their 2020 football schedule, which includes six home games and 11 contests overall.
Texas Southern will open the 2020 season on Saturday, September 5 with a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) contest on the road against the Prairie View A&M Panthers.
After their first off week of the season, Texas Southern opens their home schedule at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas, with consecutive games against the Houston Baptist Huskies on Sept. 19 and a SWAC contest against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs on Sept. 26.
The Tigers then travel to take on the Jackson State Tigers on Oct. 3 before returning to Houston to host the UT Permian Basin Falcons on Oct. 10 for Homecoming at Alexander Durley Stadium.
Next, Texas Southern travels to Arlington to take on the Southern Jaguars in the Texas State Fair Showdown at AT&T Stadium on Oct. 17. The location is a change from its usual spot at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
After their second and final off week in 2020 (Oct. 24), Texas Southern hosts back-to-back games at BBVA Compass Stadium against the Grambling State Tigers on Oct. 31 and the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils on Nov. 7.
Texas Southern wraps up their 2020 regular-season schedule with three consecutive road contests — at the New Mexico State Aggies on Nov. 14, at the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions on Nov. 21, and at the Alabama State Hornets on Thursday, Nov. 26.
