Texas A&M will open the 2012 season at home against the McNeese State Cowboys, American Press has reported. The game will be the first for the Aggies as a member of the SEC.
As reported earlier today by ESPN, Texas A&M’s first SEC game will be the following week at Kyle Field in College Station against the Florida Gators (Sept. 8).
The Aggies are currently slated to face SMU at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas on Sept. 15. That date could change depending on the new SEC schedule.
With Arkansas now a conference foe, Texas A&M is in need of two additional non-conference games to complete their 2012 football schedule.
FBSchedules.com would like to send their condolences to the family of Joe Villavisencio and the Texas A&M Aggies. Villavisencio was killed in a car crash today.
Whoop!
No no no Texas A&M, SEC vs 1-AA games are supposed to be in November but easy OOC games are half the equation of SEC scheduling, you’ll catch on in a few years.
I highly doubt this game was scheduled after A&M knew it would be leaving the Big XII. Good try though, Dave. Thanks for playing.
Ruff tuff real stuff, wooopssss.
McNeese? then an asswhooping by FLorida at home.
Florida isn’t the same team it was with Tebow, should be a really good game!
