The TCU Horned Frogs have added the Duquesne Dukes to their 2021 football schedule, the Fort Worth Star Telegram has reported.
TCU will host Duquesne at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021. The game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
Duquesne University, located in Pittsburgh, Pa., is a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC) in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Dukes are set to play their postponed fall football season this spring beginning on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at home against the Sacred Heart Pioneers.
With the addition of Duquesne, TCU has completed their non-conference schedule for the 2021 season. The Horned Frogs are also scheduled to host the California Golden Bears on Sept. 11 and the SMU Mustangs on Sept. 25.
In Big 12 action in 2021, TCU is scheduled to host Baylor, Kansas, Texas, and West Virginia and travel to Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.
Duquesne now has two scheduled non-conference opponents for the fall 2021 season, and both are from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). After playing at TCU on Sept. 4, the Dukes are slated to take on the Ohio Bobcats in Athens, Ohio, on Sept. 11.

How long until the MVFC adds Duquesne?
Will a UConn vs Houston 2021 game be announced?
And will UCF add a FCS program to their 2021 schedule?
No idea on UConn-Houston. UCF adding an FCS in 2021 is likely though.
Perhaps the strangest matchup yet.
