Spring 2021 FCS Playoffs: First-round games schedule, bracket

The spring 2021 FCS Playoffs are set to kickoff today with eight first-round games. The action begins at noon Eastern with the second-seed Sam Houston State Bearkats hosting the Monmouth Hawks.

The Spring 2021 FCS Playoff Schedule continues at 2:00pm ET with two more games — Davidson Wildcats at fourth-seed Jacksonville State Gamecocks and VMI Keydets at third-seed James Madison Dukes.

At 3:00pm ET, the Holy Cross Crusaders travel to take on the top-seed South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Then at 3:30pm ET, the North Dakota State Bison play host to the Eastern Washington Eagles.

The 4:00pm timeslot features two more matchups. The Missouri State Bears travel to take on the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, while the Weber State Wildcats host the Southern Illinois Salukis.

The first-round of the FCS Playoffs conclude with the Sacred Heart Pioneers traveling to take on the Delaware Blue Hens at 7:00pm ET.

Winners of the first-round contests will advance to the quarterfinals of the spring 2021 FCS Playoffs on Saturday, May 1 or Sunday, May 2. Those matchups will be determined following the conclusion of the first-round games.

The spring 2021 FCS Championship Game is scheduled for Sunday, May 16 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. The game will be televised by ABC at 2:00pm ET.
