The South Carolina Gamecocks have announced their four non-conference games for next season, which finalizes their 2013 schedule.
South Carolina will open the 2013 season at home against North Carolina on Saturday, Aug. 31. UNC, which hosted the last meeting in 2007, leads the overall series 34-17-4.
On Sept. 28, South Carolina will travel to face the UCF Knights. The Gamecocks have won all three meetings against UCF with the last coming in 2005.
South Carolina’s final two non-conference games are against in-state schools Coastal Carolina on Nov. 23 and Clemson on Nov. 30. USC has never faced Coastal Carolina and will be meeting their fiercest rival, Clemson, for the 111th time.
The Gamecocks were previously scheduled to host South Carolina State on Sept. 21, but that game has been canceled.
South Carolina’s 2013 SEC schedule, which was announced earlier this month, features home games against Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt. Road SEC contests include Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, and Tennessee.
The 2013 season will include two open weeks. South Carolina will be off on Sept. 21, prior to traveling to UCF, and Nov. 9, prior to hosting the Gators.

WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE DATE OF HOMECOMMING GAME ?
That probably won’t be announced for a few more months.
Want to get tickets for a home game next year. 1st time for my son. How’s the best way to get tickets?
Scalp them off the street. Print off a seating chart and look at your chart before you buy the tickets. There are plenty of tickets at every game.
