The Penn State Nittany Lions and the Syracuse Orange have scheduled a three-game football series, the schools announced today. On August 21, 2013, the two schools will meet at Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Although not finalized, Penn State will host Syracuse in 2020 at Beaver Stadium and will travel to face the Orange at the Carrier Dome in 2021.
Penn State of the Big Ten and Syracuse of the Big East have a long-standing rivalry dating back to 1922. The Nittany Lions lead the overall series 42-23-5. Last year, Penn State defeated Syracuse 28-7 at home.
In 2013, the Nittany Lions are scheduled to face Eastern Michigan and Virginia at home. Non-conference opponents for the Orange in 2013 include Boston College and Northwestern, both road games.
The Syracuse Orange have three other games scheduled at Meadowlands Stadium: USC (09/08/2012); Notre Dame (09/27/2014 and 09/03/2016).

Paterno ducks Pitt again
Penn St should always play Pitt and WVU. I think, for rivalry purposes, PSU would be a good fit in the Big East. With those 2 teams plus Syracuse. (But that’ll never happen).
I agree, Penn St. should play Pitt.
