The Ole Miss Rebels have added the ULM Warhawks to their 2023 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has learned.
A copy of the game contract was obtained from the University of Mississippi via a state public records request.
Ole Miss will host ULM at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss., on Saturday, November 18, 2023. The Rebels will pay the Warhawks a $1.6 million guarantee for playing the game, according to the copy of the contract.
In their most recent meeting on the gridiron, Ole Miss amassed 826 yards of total offense, 517 passing and 309 rushing, in a 70-21 rout of the Warhawks in 2018. The victory extended Ole Miss’ unbeaten record against ULM to 4-0.
The addition of ULM tentatively completes Ole Miss’ non-conference football schedule for the 2023 season. The Rebels are currently scheduled to open the season in Oxford against the Mercer Bears on Sept. 2.
Other non-conference games for Ole Miss in 2023 include the Tulane Green Wave on the road on Sept. 9 and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at home on Sept. 16.
SEC opponents for Ole Miss in 2023 include Arkansas, LSU, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt in Oxford and Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Mississippi State on the road.
Ole Miss is the first scheduled non-conference opponent for the ULM Warhawks for the 2023 season. The Warhawks also have future road guarantee games scheduled against Georgia (2020), Arkansas (2020), Kentucky (2021), LSU (2021), and Alabama (2022 and 2025).
