The North Carolina Tar Heels have announced their 2011 football schedule, which features games against Louisville, Rutgers, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), NC State and Virginia Tech.
North Carolina opens the 2011 season at home on September 3 against James Madison at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill. The following week, UNC hosts the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
The final two non-conference games for the Tar Heels are at East Carolina (10/01) and home against Louisville (10/08).
The Tar Heels open ACC play on September 17 at home against Virginia. The remainder of their conference schedule is at Georgia Tech (09/24), Miami (10/15), at Clemson (10/22), Wake Forest (10/29), at NC State (11/05), at Virginia Tech (Thu. 11/17) and Duke (11/26).
The ACC Championship Game will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
