The Nicholls Colonels have added the Lincoln (MO) Blue Tigers to their spring 2021 football schedule, the school announced on Thursday.

Nicholls will host Lincoln at Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium in Thibodaux, La., on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. Kickoff for the game has been set for 7:00pm ET/6:00pm CT.

Lincoln University of Missouri is a member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) in Division II.

“It’s special to be able to play at home and have a seven-game schedule,” said Nicholls head football coach Tim Rebowe. “Through these difficult times, I can’t say enough about how hard our administration worked to find us a nonconference game. I want to especially thank Andrew Kearney for the work he did in securing us a contest before the start of our Southland Conference schedule. We will be ready and are excited for our fans to be there in full force.”

Nicholls now has seven games scheduled for the spring 2021 season. Other home opponents include Lamar (Feb. 27), Incarnate Word (March 27), and Southeastern Louisiana (April 10).

The Colonels will travel to play Northwestern State (March 6), Sam Houston State (March 13), and McNeese (April 3).
