Morgan State will host a Nov. 16 contest with Virginia University of Lynchburg. The game with the Dragons in Hughes Stadium is slated for a 1:00pm ET start.
Virginia University of Lynchburg is a private, historically black college located in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Dragons are a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association, and finished the 2018 season with a 3-7 record. Morgan State will be the seventh FCS opponent on VUL’s 2019 slate.
Morgan State will open the 2019 campaign on Aug. 29, hitting the road to face MAC foe Bowling Green. That contest will be one of three the Bears play on the road to start the season, with games at James Madison (Sept. 14) and Army (Sept. 21) completing the road portion of the non-MEAC slate. The Bears travel for in-league games at Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 5), South Carolina State (Oct. 19), Norfolk State (Nov. 2), and Howard (Nov. 23).
The Bears host a Sept. 28 conference outing with N.C. Central, and welcome Delaware State (Oct. 12) and Florida A&M (Oct. 26) to Baltimore before the season’s final month. North Carolina A&T visits Hughes Stadium Nov. 9, before the home finale with VUL.
