The Morehead State Eagles have released their 2020 football schedule, according to a report by STATS PERFORM.
Morehead State is scheduled to open the 2020 season on Thursday, Sept. 3 with a non-conference contest at home at Jayne Stadium in Morehead, Ky., against Presbyterian.
The following week on Sept. 12, Morehead State opens Pioneer Football League (PFL) action at home against Marist.
Morehead State concludes their non-conference schedule over the next two weeks when they travel to take on Montana on Sept. 19 and host St. Andrews on Sept. 26.
The seven remaining contests for MSU are all against PFL opponents — at Davidson (Oct. 3), vs. San Diego (Oct. 10), vs. Drake (Oct. 17), at Stetson (Oct. 24), at Butler (Nov. 7), at Dayton (Nov. 14), and vs. Valparaiso (Nov. 21).
Morehead State’s open date is scheduled for Halloween (Oct. 31).
Morehead State finished the 2019 season 5-7 overall and 3-5 in PFL action. The Eagles have not won a league championship since the 1966 season in the Ohio Valley Conference.
