The Mississippi State Bulldogs have added a game against the UT Martin Skyhawks to their 2014 football schedule, according to UTM’s official website.
Mississippi State will host UT Martin at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville on November 8, 2014. The Bulldogs won the only contest between the two schools 55-17 back in 2011.
The Skyhawks are a member of the Ohio Valley Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision. They won at Memphis last season 20-17 to notch their first win over an FBS program.
The addition of UT Martin tentatively completes the 2014 non-conference football schedule for Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are scheduled to open the season at home vs. Southern Miss on Aug. 30, host UAB on Sept. 6, and travel to South Alabama on Sept. 20.
Mississippi State opens the 2013 season on Aug. 31 against Oklahoma State in the inaugural Texas Kick Off Classic at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

What a dung heap of an out of conference schedule! Dean Martin would field a more interesting and competitive than UT(Uncle ) Martin. Why not a home & home in their 7,500 seat high school stadium?
maybe they couldn’t get Savannah St…..
