The Lehigh Mountain Hawks have released their 2019 football schedule, which includes five home games at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Lehigh will open the 2019 season at home against the Saint Francis U. Red Flash on Saturday, Aug. 31. This non-conference matchup was not previously announced or reported.
The Mountain Hawks will then travel for back-to-back non-conference contests at the Villanova Wildcats on Sept. 7 and at the UC Davis Aggies on Sept. 14.
After their first off week on Sept. 21, Lehigh hosts the Merrimack Warriors at Goodman Stadium in Sept. 28 before traveling to open Patriot League play at the Colgate Raiders on Oct. 5.
Lehigh enjoys their second off week of the 2019 season on Oct. 12. The Mountain Hawks then travel to play the Fordham Rams on Oct. 19 before hosting consecutive games in Bethlehem against the Georgetown Hoyas on Oct. 26 and the Holy Cross Crusaders on Nov. 2.
Back-to-back road games are up again as Lehigh journeys to square off with the Bucknell Bison on Nov. 9 and the Sacred Heart Pioneers on Nov. 16, which is their fifth and final non-conference game of the season.
Lehigh will wrap up their 2019 schedule at home against the Lafayette Leopards on Nov. 23 in the 155th meeting of The Rivalry.
Lehigh finished the 2018 season 3-8 overall and 2-4 in Patriot League action. The Mountain Hawks have appeared in the FCS Playoffs 11 times, the last coming in a first round loss to Stony Brook in 2017.
