The Indiana State Sycamores have released their 2020 football schedule, which includes five home contests.
Indiana State opens the 2020 season with back-to-back non-conference games on the road, beginning at the Eastern Illinois Panthers on Sept. 5. ISU then travels to take on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on Sept. 12.
The Sycamores open up the home portion of their 2020 schedule on Sept. 19 at Memorial Stadium in Terre Haute, Ind., against the Lindenwood Lions. The Lions compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) in Division II.
With non-conference action completed, Indiana State opens Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) play the following week on Sept. 26 on the road against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
After their only open date of the season on Oct. 3, Indiana State plays host to the North Dakota State Bison on Oct. 10 before traveling to take on the Youngstown State Penguins on Oct. 17.
Indiana State returns to Terre Haute to host consecutive games against the Missouri State Bears on Oct. 24, which is their Homecoming weekend, followed by the Illinois State Redbirds on Oct. 31.
Two of Indiana State’s final three games in 2020 are on the road. The Sycamores play at the Southern Illinois Salukis on Nov. 7, host the South Dakota Coyotes on Nov. 14, and then close the regular-season at the Western Illinois Leathernecks on Nov. 21.
Indiana State halted a four-game losing streak with back-to-back victories over Youngstown State, 24-17, and Missouri State, 51-24, to close out the 2020 season 5-7 overall and 3-5 in MVFC play.
