The Idaho State Bengals have released their 2019 football schedule, which includes games at Utah and at BYU.
Idaho State does not play in the opening week of the 2019 season. Then Bengals will kick off their slate in Week 2 at home at Holt Arena in Pocatello against the Western Colorado Mountaineers on Thursday, Sept. 5.
Idaho State then plays back-to-back road contests, beginning with a game at the Utah Utes on Sept. 14. ISU then heads to play the Northern Iowa Panthers on Sept. 21.
On Sept. 28, Idaho State kicks off Big Sky Conference play at home against the Portland State Vikings before traveling to face the Montana Grizzlies on Oct. 5.
Idaho State returns home to host the North Dakota Fighting Hawks on Oct. 12 before playing consecutive road games at the Idaho Vandals on Oct. 19 and at the Southern Utah Thunderbirds on Oct. 26.
Next are up are pair of home games at Holt Arena, beginning with the Northern Colorado Bears on Nov. 2. The next week on Nov. 9, the Eastern Washington Eagles visit Pocatello.
Idaho State closes out the 2019 regular-season with two more road games. The Bengals play at the BYU Cougars on Nov. 16 and at the Weber State Wildcats on Nov. 23.
ISU finished the 2018 season 6-5 overall and 5-3 in Big Sky action. The Bengals last won the Big Sky Conference championship in 2002.
Idaho State might have the most rugged schedule in the Big Sky next year….definitely will be earning those paydays.
