The Hawaii Warriors and the Washington Huskies have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2013 and 2015, the schools announced this week.
The Warriors will host the Huskies in Honolulu on December 7, 2013. On September 19, 2015, Hawaii will travel to face Washington at Husky Stadium in Seattle.
Hawaii and Washington have met only three times in history. The Warriors lead the overall series 2-1. Listed below are the results:
- 1938 – Washington 53, Hawaii 13 (Poi Bowl, Honolulu, HI)
- 1973 – Hawaii 10, Washington 7 (at Seattle, WA)
- 2007 – Hawaii 35, Washington 28 (at Honolulu, HI)
Washington also announced that they have canceled a 2011-2012 home-and-home series with BYU. In turn, they have scheduled Eastern Washington for Sept. 3, 2011 and are close to scheduling Portland State for September 1, 2012.
