The Hawaii Warriors have added the Tulane Green Wave of Conference USA to their 2011 football schedule. The game will be played on November 26, 2011 at Aloha Stadium.
Tulane replaces a home game with Oregon State. The Hawaii-Oregon State series has been pushed back to September 7, 2013 at Oregon State and September 6, 2014 at Hawaii.
With the addition of Tulane, the Hawaii 2011 non-conference football schedule will include road games at Washington and UNLV and home games against Colorado, UC Davis, Tulane and BYU. Tulane currently has 2011 non-conference games scheduled at home against Southeastern Louisiana and on the road at Army and Hawaii.
The meeting between Tulane and Hawaii will be the fourth overall in the series, which is tied at two games each. The teams last met in the 2002 Hawaii Bowl with Tulane winning the game 36-28.
Football Schedules:
How can Tulane have a OOC against Navy in 2011, when you are showing Navy with 12 games already? I’m showing Tulane with OOC games @Army, @Hawaii and home for Southeastern Lousiana.
Sorry, the Navy game was canceled but never removed from their schedule. SE Louisiana has been confirmed and added. Tulane is rumored to play at Duke also in 2011, but that is unconfirmed. Based on the “Hawaii Exemption” Tulane can play 13 games in 2011 if they want to.
