The Georgia Bulldogs have added the New Mexico State Aggies to their 2011 football schedule, various sites have reported. The game will be played in Athens, Georgia on November 5, 2011. The contract stipulates that the Aggies will receive $925,000.
Georgia, a member of the SEC, holds a 3-0 lead all-time against New Mexico State, a member of the WAC. All three games were played in Athens, with the Bulldogs winning 40-13 (1995), 37-0 (2000) and 41-10 (2002).
The addition of New Mexico State completes the non-conference schedule for Georgia in 2011. The Bulldogs have home games scheduled against Louisville and Coastal Carolina and a game at Georgia Tech.

I love Georgia. They are one of the few SEC teams who play quality non conference schedules. They always play at least two BCS level teams. LSU should take notes.
