Florida Gators announce 2012 football schedule

The Florida Gators have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Florida opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against the Bowling Green Falcons. Other non-conference games for the Gators include UL-Lafayette (Nov. 10), Jacksonville State (Nov. 17) and at Florida State (Nov. 24).

The Florida Gators kick off the 2012 SEC season with two straight road games, at Texas A&M on Sept. 8 and at Tennessee on Sept. 15. The rest of Florida’s SEC schedule includes Kentucky (Sept. 22), LSU (Oct. 6), at Vanderbilt (Oct. 13), South Carolina (Oct. 20), Georgia (Oct. 27; at Jacksonville) and Missouri (Nov. 3).

The 2012 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

That should say Texas A&M, not Missouri.
