The ETSU Buccaneers have announced their fall 2021 football schedule, which includes six home games at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium in Johnson City, Tenn.
“We are looking forward to being able to play a normal fall schedule,” ETSU head coach Randy Sanders said. “We were fortunate to have the opportunity to play this spring but now we are shifting our focus to a fall season that will be both challenging and beneficial to our team. We are excited to see fans filling the seats at Greene Stadium this season.”
ETSU opens the 2021 season on the road against Vanderbilt on Saturday, Sept. 4. The Buccaneers then host back-to-back games at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium against UVA Wise on Sept. 11 and Delaware State on Sept. 18.
ETSU opens Southern Conference (SoCon) action on Sept. 25 on the road against Samford. Other road SoCon games include Chattanooga (Oct. 16), Furman (Oct. 23), and Western Carolina (Nov. 13).
The Catamounts will host SoCon foes Wofford (Oct. 2), The Citadel (Oct. 9), VMI (Nov. 6; Homecoming), and Mercer (Nov. 20).

ETSU finished the spring 2021 football season 4-2 in SoCon action. Games against Wofford and Chattanooga were canceled and not rescheduled.
