Colorado Buffaloes complete 2012 non-conference football schedule

The Colorado Buffaloes have completed their 2012 non-conference football schedule, DailyCamera.com has reported.

Colorado opens the 2012 season against in-state rival Colorado State on Sept. 1 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver. The Buffaloes lead the all-time series against the Rams 61-21-2.

On Sept. 8, Colorado hosts the Sacramento State Hornets at Folsom Field. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Colorado’s final 2012 non-conference game is Sept. 15 at Fresno State. The series, which Colorado leads 4-1, has never been played in Fresno. The two schools have played in Boulder four times and once in the Aloha Bowl.

Pac-12 home games for the Buffaloes include Arizona State, Stanford, UCLA, Utah and Washington. Colorado will travel to face Arizona, Oregon, USC and Washington State. Dates for these games have yet to be announced.
