Notre Dame started the preseason with 5 opponents between 10 and 20 in the polls. Now they have only Michigan in the Top 25. Stanford, Virginia Tech are no longer ranked this week the other two opponents dropped off previous weeks. How will that affect their quest for the college playoff.

Both polls have Oklahoma at #11 but the Writers put Texas at #9 and the Coaches at #14. I wonder if they played each other at a neutral site who would win? Oh yeah.

I find it interesting that UCF is #9 or #10 and fellow unbeaten teams NC State and Colorado are between 18 and 20 in both poils. I suspect that will greatly in the next 4 weeks should they both stay unbeaten.
