The College Football Playoff will again release six sets of rankings in 2019, it was announced on Thursday.
The first release of rankings by the College Football Playoff Selection Committee is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. That follows Week 10 of the 2019 college football season.
Rankings will then be released every Tuesday from Nov. 12 through Dec. 3, which covers Week 11 through Week 14.

Selection Day is set for Sunday, Dec. 8, which will see the unveiling of the four College Football Playoff teams, the New Year’s Six pairings, and the final set of rankings from the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.
The College Football Playoff Semifinals for the 2019 season are set for Saturday, Dec. 28. Two teams will play in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, while the other two teams will play in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
One New Year’s Six game will precede the College Football Playoff Semifinals on Saturday, Dec. 28. The Goodyear Cotton Bowl will be played at 1:00pm ET at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The remaining three New Year’s Six games are scheduled for New Year’s Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020:

Rose Bowl Game
5:00pm ET/ESPN; Big Ten vs. Pac-12
Allstate Sugar Bowl
8:30pm ET/ESPN; Big 12 vs. SEC
The College Football National Championship is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 13, 2020 at 8:00pm ET on ESPN. The game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
