The Clemson Tigers have announced their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Auburn, South Carolina, Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech.
Clemson opens the 2012 season on Sept. 1 against the Auburn Tigers in the 2012 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Other non-conference games for Clemson include home games against Ball State (Sept. 8), Furman (Sept 15) and in-state rival South Carolina (Nov. 24).
The Tigers kick off 2012 ACC play with back-to-back road games at Florida State on Sept. 22 and at Boston College on Sept. 29. Clemson returns home to host Georgia Tech on Oct. 6 and, after an open date, Virginia Tech on Oct. 20.
Clemson hits the road again to face Wake Forest on Thurs., Oct. 25 and Duke on Nov. 3. The Tigers close out the season with consecutive home games against Maryland on Nov. 10, NC State on Nov. 17 and in-state rival South Carolina on Nov. 24.
The 2012 ACC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.
