The Central Michigan Chippewas have announced their 2011 football schedule, which includes games against Kentucky, Michigan State, NC State, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan.
Central Michigan opens the 2011 season vs. the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Thursday, September 1. The Chippewas will travel to Kentucky (09/10), Michigan State (9/24) and NC State (10/08) in other non-conference games.
The Chippewas open the 2011 MAC season on September 17 at the Western Michigan Broncos. The rest of the Central Michigan conference schedule includes Northern Illinois (10/01), Eastern Michigan (10/15), at Ball State (10/22), at Akron (10/29), at Kent State (Fri. 11/04), Ohio (Thur . 11/10) and Toledo (Fri. 11/18).
The 2011 MAC Championship Game will be played on Friday, December 2 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan (8:00 p.m. ET – ESPN2).
