The Big Sky has released their conference football schedule for the 2020 season through the 2023 season.
The Big Sky, which consists of 13 members, will continue to play an eight-game schedule. Each team will play what the Big Sky calls their “rival” every season. Those matchups are listed below:

Cal Poly – Sacramento State, UC Davis
Eastern Washington – Idaho, Portland State
Idaho – Eastern Washington, Montana
Idaho State – Portland State, Weber State
Montana – Idaho, Montana State
Montana State – Montana, Northern Colorado
Northern Arizona – Northern Colorado, Southern Utah
Northern Colorado – Montana State, Northern Arizona
Portland State – Eastern Washington, Idaho State
Sacramento State – Cal Poly, UC Davis
Southern Utah – Northern Arizona, Weber State
UC Davis – Cal Poly, Sacramento State
Weber State – Idaho State, Southern Utah
The Big Sky also noted in their announcement that conference members will continue to have the option of scheduling fellow conference members in non-conference contests.

Why aren’t Idaho – Idaho State a protected rivalry?
Apparently Idaho – Idaho State is not a “protected rivalry” because the conference felt that it was more desirable to have Eastern Washington and Montana as Idaho’s yearly rivals.
