The Army Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen will face off today for the 110th time in history. The 2009 Army-Navy football game will be televised by CBS at 2:30 p.m. ET (Lincoln Financial Field – Philadelphia, PA).
Navy leads the overall series 53-49-7. The Midshipmen have dominated the series this decade, winning the last seven games by an average margin of 29 points.
Navy is 8-4 on the season and will face the Missouri Tigers in the 2009 Texas Bowl in Houston on December 31.
Army is 5-6 on the season. If the Black Knights defeat Navy, they will face UCLA in the 2009 EagleBank Bowl in Washington, DC on December 29.
