The Arkansas Razorbacks have added the Charleston Southern Buccaneers and the ULM Warhawks to their 2020 football schedule, the school announced today.
The two new opponents were announced in conjunction with the release of the 2020 SEC Football Schedule on Wednesday.
Arkansas will host Charleston Southern at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville on Saturday, October 3, 2020. The game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
Charleston Southern, located in Charleston, South Carolina, competes in the Big South Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Buccaneers finished the 2018 season 5-6 overall and 3-2 in Big South action.
The ULM Warhawks will visit Fayetteville on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Arkansas and ULM have squared off 10 times in their history.
In their first meeting in 1996, Arkansas defeated ULM 38-21 in Little Rock. The Warhawks upset the Hogs 34-31 in their most recent matchup in 2012, which was also played in Little Rock.
Arkansas is scheduled to open the 2020 season at home against Kent State on Saturday, Sept. 5. The Razorbacks then travel to take on Notre Dame in South Bend on Saturday, Sept. 12.
SEC action in 2020 kicks off for the Razorbacks on the road in Starkville against the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 19. Arkansas faces Texas A&M the following week in Arlington (Sept. 19) and then opens their home conference schedule on Saturday, Oct. 10 against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
