The Alabama Crimson Tide have added the Georgia State Panthers to their 2010 football schedule, the schools announced Wednesday. The Crimson Tide will host the Panthers at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on November 20, 2010.
2010 will be the first year for the new football program at Georgia State University in Atlanta. They will compete in the Colonial Athletic Association of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Panthers are coached by Bill Curry, the former head coach at Georgia Tech (1980-86), Alabama (1987-89) and Kentucky (1990-96).
Other non-conference opponents for Alabama in 2010 include Duke, Pen State and San Jose State.
Football Schedules:
Georgia State is in for a sever wipping. I truely respect Coach Curry and all he stands for and I know what he is thinking this will be a no win situation for Alabama and a no lose proposition for him. If he can just show up and survive he will have done well. But that may be hard to do against the Crimson Tide.
