The 2021 FBS Independents Football Helmet Schedule is now available. The PDF schedule features the team helmets, date, and opponent for each FBS Independent team.
There are seven Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) Independent teams for the 2021 season — Army, BYU, Liberty, New Mexico State, Notre Dame, UConn, and UMass.
The first FBS Independent to hit the gridiron this fall will be the UConn Huskies when they travel to take on the Fresno State Bulldogs on Saturday, Aug. 28 (Week Zero).
Army, BYU, Liberty, New Mexico State, and UMass each begin their seasons on Saturday, Sept. 4. One day later on Sunday, Sept. 5, Notre Dame kicks off their fall 2021 slate on the road against the Florida State Seminoles. The Fighting Irish return to Independent status this season after playing in the ACC in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021 football helmet schedules for the MAC, Mountain West, Pac-12, SEC, and Sun Belt have already been released. The remaining helmet schedules will be released soon.
