The North Dakota State Bison and the Oregon Ducks have agreed to reschedule their postponed football game in 2020 to the 2028 season, NDSU announced on Tuesday.
Oregon was previously scheduled to host North Dakota State on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, but the game was canceled due to the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Ducks will now host the Bison at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2028. The game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
With the rescheduling of the North Dakota State game to the 2028 season, the Oregon Ducks have now completed their non-conference schedule for that season. The Ducks are also scheduled to host the Baylor Bears on Sept. 9 and travel to face the Utah State Aggies on Sept. 16.
Oregon is the first scheduled non-conference opponent for the North Dakota State Bison in 2028.
Oregon is scheduled to open the fall 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 at home against the Fresno State Bulldogs. North Dakota State opens their fall slate on the same day at home at the Fargodome in Fargo, N.D., against the UAlbany Great Danes.
