The 2019 preseason Coaches Poll has been released and the Clemson Tigers top the rankings. Clemson received 59 first place votes and 1,619 total points.
Alabama, which has been ranked first in the preseason poll the past two seasons, comes in at number two. The Crimson Tide received six first-place votes and 1,566 points overall. Georgia, Oklahoma, and Ohio State round out the top five.
No other team besides Clemson and Alabama received a first-place vote in the 2019 preseason Coaches Poll.
The Big Ten leads all conferences with seven teams in the Top 25 poll. The SEC follows with six ranked teams, with the Pac-12 close behind with five. Listed below is the full conference breakdown:
