2018 SEC Football Predictions | Week 12
Week 11 Record (4-3), Overall Record (66-25)

Week 12 is the worst week of the 2018 SEC Football season. It’s actually the worst week of every college football season.

Don’t be disappointed if this is the worst week of SEC Football Predictions. Some may say, they are a joke.

All Times Eastern | Utilizing the College Football Playoff Selection Committee Rankings.

Saturday, November 17th, 2018
The Citadel (4-5) at #1 Alabama (10-0, 7-0 SEC)
Noon ET | SEC Network

A word of wisdom: The Alabama is probably better than The Citadel. I’m taking The Alabama for the win.
PREDICTION: Alabama 59, The Citadel 0

Arkansas (2-8, 0-6 SEC) at Mississippi State (6-4, 2-4 SEC)
Noon ET | ESPN

A word of wisdom: Here we have an Arkansas team with an 0-6 record in the SEC and a Mississippi State team with a 2-4 conference record. If you elect to throw out the records in this one, you made the right decision.

PREDICTION: Mississippi State 21, Arkansas 10

Idaho (4-6) at #13 Florida (7-3, 5-3 SEC)
Noon ET | ESPNU

A word of wisdom: Did you know Idaho still plays its home games in the Kibbie Dome? A dome with a capacity of 16,000 is pretty neat. This game is being played in Gainesville, Florida. It will be outdoors on a grass field.

PREDICTION: Florida 35, Idaho 6

MTSU (7-3) at #17 Kentucky (7-3, 5-3 SEC)
Noon ET | SEC Network Alternative

A word of wisdom: MTSU could prove to be a tough out for Kentucky. One, because the Blue Raiders are a decent football team and, second, because Kentucky has a propensity to lose to teams with Tennessee anywhere in the name of the school.

PREDICTION: Kentucky 35, MTSU 14

Missouri (6-4, 2-4) at Tennessee (5-5, 2-4 SEC)
3:30 PM ET | CBS

A word of wisdom: Tennessee and Missouri are both coming into their own as the season comes to an end. This game will go to overtime and Tennessee will win.

PREDICTION: Tennessee 34, Missouri 28 OT

Liberty (4-5) at Auburn (6-4, 3-4 SEC)
4:00 PM ET | SEC Network Alternate

A word of wisdom: Jerry Falwell would have loved this game. Not really. How cool would it be if it were true? He hated purple Teletubbies, but the Liberty-Auburn game was the game he most longed for.

PREDICTION: Auburn 42, Liberty 7

UMass (4-7) at #5 Georgia (2-7, 0-5 SEC)
4:00 PM ET | SEC Network

Marcus Camby jokes would fit well in this section. Go ahead. Got any good ones?
PREDICTION: Georgia 52, UMass 0

UAB (9-1) at Texas A&M (6-4, 4-3 SEC)
7:00 PM ET | ESPN2

I picked UAB to beat Florida once when Florida’s season was on the brink. The Gators killed UAB. I will refrain from taking the bait this year in College Station.
PREDICTION: Texas A&M 29, UAB 12

Rice (1-10) at #7 LSU (8-2, 5-2 SEC)
7:00 PM ET | ESPNU

Rice goes in gumbo. This would be the section you would give me your Rice and gumbo jokes.
PREDICTION: LSU 34, Rice 7

Ole Miss (5-5, 1-5) at Vanderbilt (4-6, 1-5 SEC)
7:30 PM ET | SEC Network

Ole Miss is not good, but they are not bad. Vanderbilt is similar. This will be an entertaining game that just might be the second SEC game of the day to go into overtime. Two games that lasted longer than expected on the worst week of the season. 2018 is savage.
PREDICTION: Ole Miss 24, Vanderbilt 21 OT

Chattanooga (6-4) at South Carolina (5-4, 4-4 SEC)
7:30 PM ET | SEC Network

Steve Tanneyhill, Terrell Owens, and Stephen Garcia walk into a bar. Enter your punchline here.
PREDICTION: South Carolina 21, Chattanooga 17

Comment (1)

I agree with all the predictions, weak week for the SEC but I will comment on only two games.
Bama win 55-0 in hopes for there third straight shuout, I also think they should play Tua, at-least for the 1st half, the odds of him getting touched by any of the defense is not good, of course he could run the wrong way & tweak his knee again.
I think A&M will beat UAB but I will be pulling for the Blazers, they’re are 9-1 & going to the championship game in USA.
Nice to see what they have done in only 3 years back, this is the best time to beat the Aggies if it happens & what a win it would be with a nice little check coming their way.
