Marshall… come “home” and help balance this at 7 and 7 in the divisions…. Leave that C-USA mess that’s just Sun Belt Plus now.
I agree David, or even UCF but Marshall had some incredible years in the MAC. I wish they would also “come home”.
Does anyone know how the crossover games are determined?
Haven’t been able to figure it out.
rotational basis I am assuming.
For instance, UMass “missed” Kent State, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, and Toledo in 2012-13, so they play those four in 2014.
They “miss” Ohio, Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, and Western Michigan in 2014.
including 2014 Akron had Eastern, Ball St. and Northern Ill. 4 times, Toledo and Central, 3 times, and Western 2 times, in cross over games. I’m convinced that the schedule makers do what they can to make sure that there are as many MAC teams bowl eligible as possible.
