The 2014 C-USA Football Championship Game is set with the Marshall Thundering Herd facing the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Marshall will host the game at Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington, West Virginia on Saturday, Dec. 6 (Noon ET, ESPN2).

Marshall (11-1, 7-1 C-USA) won the East Division title by finishing a full two games ahead of Middle Tennessee. The Thundering Herd will be playing in their second overall and second consecutive conference championship game. Marshall fell to Rice 41-24 last season.

Louisiana Tech (8-4, 7-1 C-USA) won the West Division title after they finished two games ahead of both Rice and UTEP. This will be the first championship game appearance for the Bulldogs.

Marshall and Louisiana Tech have only met once on the gridiron, a 1942 contest in Ruston. The Bulldogs won that game 26-0.
