The 2012 Sunday Night Football Schedule on NBC is set. Sunday Night Football kicks off with a game on Wednesday, yes Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET with the New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys. The game is the regular season-opener for the NFL.
There will also be a special edition of Sunday Night Football on Thanksgiving night which is Thursday, Nov. 22. The New York Jets will host the Super Bowl runner-up New England Patriots.
Counting the Wednesday and Thursday games, there are a total of 18 regular-season NFL games schedule for Sunday Night Football on NBC.
