The Temple Owls and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have scheduled a three-game football series beginning with the 2014 season, Temple announced Thursday afternoon.
Notre Dame will make its first ever appearance at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on October 11, 2014 in the first game of the series. The match up will mark the first game between the schools. Temple will visit Notre Dame Stadium on September 26, 2015 in the second game of the series.
The third and final game will be at Notre Dame Stadium with the date to be determined.
With the addition of Notre Dame to Temple’s future football schedules, the 2014 and 2015 non-conference schedules are now complete.
In 2014, the Owls will play at Penn State (8/30) and host Navy (9/6), Maryland (9/20) and Notre Dame (10/11). In 2015, the Owls will travel to Rutgers (9/12), Notre Dame (9/26) and Navy (10/31) and will host Penn State (9/17).
Notre Dame now has eight games scheduled for 2014 with road games against Navy (date TBA), vs. Syracuse at the New Meadowlands (9/27), Temple (10/11), Arizona State (10/11) and USC (11/29). Notre Dame currently has home games vs. Purdue (9/13), Michigan (9/20) and Pitt (11/8).
For 2015, Notre Dame will host Texas (9/5), Temple (9/26), Wake Forest (11/7), Syracuse (11/21) and USC. The Irish will visit Purdue (9/19), Pitt (11/14), Boston College, Michigan and Oklahoma.

I think you’re right…..Norte Dame will be a much better team this year. They’re getting good players again and after the first 4 games,the schedules have been a bit softer outside USC…

Army can give ANY team in the MAC a run for their money. Even Nortern Illinois and Miami of Ohio.
