The UMass Minutemen have announced kickoff times for their home football games in 2018, which includes five contests at McGuirk Alumni Stadium.
All UMass home games at McGuirk Alumni Stadium will be broadcast live on Eleven Sports. The kickoff time and television coverage for the Nov. 10 game against BYU at Gillette Stadium will be announced at a later date.
UMass will open the 2018 season in Week Zero at home against the Duquesne Dukes on Saturday, Aug. 25. The game is set for a 5:30pm ET kickoff.
Four weeks later on Sept. 22, the Charlotte 49ers visit McGuirk Alumni Stadium. The game will kickoff at 3:30pm ET.
The remaining three UMass home games are also slated for 3:30pm ET kickoffs — USF (Oct. 6), Coastal Carolina (Oct. 20), and Liberty (Nov. 3). The Liberty game will serve as UMass’ homecoming.
Kickoff times for three road games have already been set: Boston College (Sept. 1, 1:00pm), Georgia Southern (Sept. 8, 6:00pm), and FIU (Sept. 15, 7:30pm). Kickoff times for road games at Ohio (Sept. 29), UConn (Oct. 27), and Georgia (Nov. 17) will likely be announced 6-12 days prior to the date of the game.
Football Schedules
Now only the mountain west has a few games on opening weekend that need to be announced. Wonder when this will happen?
If UMass announces kickoff times and nobody watches the games, do they really announce kickoff times?
people are going to watch it
Too bad Eleven was the best deal that UMass could get. I’ll likely have to DVR the USF game.
