With the release of the 2012 NFL schedule on Tuesday, the Thursday Night Schedule on NFL Network is set. Thursday Night Football kicks off on Sept. 13 at 8:20 p.m. ET with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field.
The Super Bowl champion New York Giants will travel to face the Carolina Panthers on Sept., 20. Overall, there are 13 regular-season NFL games in 2012 slated for Thursday night on NFL Network.

I think I’ll stick to college football on Thursday nights
Me to
yeah, I always like college football on Thursdays but I suppose a choice now if the college game isn’t a good one. I think the nfl should skip thursdays for the first month other than opening game, but you know what, college shouldn’t be on Fridays that suppose to be for High School. Like John Madden use to say “fridays for high school, saturday for college, and sundays for pro” Usually in December, starting with the saturday with Army v Navy there are a couple of saturdays where theres not much college football, would be nice to have a couple of nfl games on those days.
